Eagles sign 3 draft picks
The Eagles locked up three more draft picks yesterday, agreeing to terms with cornerback Jack Ikegwuonu, linebacker Joe Mays and offensive tackle King Dunlap on four-year deals.
Seven of the Birds' 10 picks have signed, leaving only second- round selections Trevor Laws and DeSean Jackson, along with third- rounder Bryan Smith, who could get done before the week is out, without contracts.
The San Francisco 49ers claimed former Eagles defensive tackle LaJuan Ramsey off waivers yesterday.
Ramsey was released by Philadelphia June 12.
Ramsey (6-foot-3, 300-pounds) originally was selected by the Birds in the sixth-round of the 2006 draft out of the University of Southern California. He played in six games as a rookie in 2006 and nine games last season.
