Eagles Preparing for August Charity Fundraiser
The Philadelphia Eagles are getting ready for their annual charity carnival this summer.
Sarah Martinez-Helfman, executive director of the the Eagles Youth Partnership, says the Eagles will be at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday, August 17th:
"Every player, every coach, every cheerleader is at the event. And instead of playing a football game, they're there to meet you."
It's the 14th annual carnival benefiting the Eagles Youth Partnership. Martinez-Helfman says fans can get player autographs, photos, and locker room tours:
"Some things are free, but most things cost money because this is absolutely a fundraiser. We're trying to raise a million dollars."
