Kiper predicts Bears will draft USC tackle Baker
In his first mock draft released this week, ESPN.com’s Mel Kiper Jr. predicts that the Bears will select USC offensive tackle Sam Baker with the 14th overall pick in the draft.
Kiper projects that Baker will be the fourth tackle chosen overall and the third in as many picks following Michigan’s Jake Long to the Chiefs at No. 5, Boise State’s Ryan Clady to the Broncos at No. 12 and Pittsburgh’s Jeff Otah to the Panthers at No. 13.
Among the players still on the board at No. 14 in Kiper’s mock draft are California wide receiver DeSean Jackson, Arkansas running back Felix Jones, Oregon running back Jonathan Stewart and Vanderbilt offensive tackle Chris Williams.
