Scouting Report: DeSean Jackson, WR, California
DeSean Jackson is one of the top receivers in a very deep class. The junior from California is one of a handful of wideouts who has the elite speed and quickness that NFL scouts are looking for. Jackson is a player who can threaten to score on every touch. Jackson is also an excellent punt returner, making it more than likely that whoever drafts him will have him on the field immediately. No other prospect has the natural quickness and athleticism that DeSean Jackson possesses. And you can’t teach speed!
Scouting Report
Pros: He is quick and he is good; with the right quarterback and the right system you have a game changer on your hands.
Cons: He is a bit skinny for the NFL, but hopefully his other skills will help Jackson overcome that.
