Eagles might face Bears without Westbrook

Philadelphia quarterback Donovan McNabb returned to practice Friday, but the Eagles could be without running back Brian Westbrook for Sunday's game at Chicago.

McNabb was a full participant in practice after sitting out all week because of a chest contusion. McNabb was able to make all the necessary throws in practice, Coach Andy Reid said.

The Eagles probably will be without Pro Bowl guard Shawn Andrews and tight end L.J. Smith — and perhaps Westbrook, Philadelphia's best playmaker.

Westbrook sat out practice all week because of an ankle injury but has said he plans on being ready to play.

"We'll see how he does here over the next couple days," Reid said. "I mentioned before that it's going to go right to the wire there."

# Chicago defensive tackle Tommie Harris will be a game-time decision because of an injured left knee, Coach Lovie Smith said. If Harris is unable to play, defensive tackle Anthony Adams could be active for the first time this season, Smith added.

The Bears also listed return man/wide receiver Devin Hester (ribs) and receiver Brandon Lloyd (hip) as questionable.

# Jacksonville probably will be without safety Reggie Nelson (knee) and linebacker Justin Durant (groin) on Sunday against Houston.

# Baltimore ruled out cornerback Samari Rolle for Monday's game at Pittsburgh because of shoulder and neck injuries. In Rolle's place, the Ravens could go with a combination of reserve cornerbacks Fabian Washington, Corey Ivy and Frank Walker.

# The Green Bay Packers initially feared that Pro Bowl cornerback Al Harris would miss the rest of the season because of a spleen injury. But Coach Mike McCarthy says it's his understanding that Harris' spleen won't need to be removed and the cornerback will be out "at least three to four weeks."

# New York Jets quarterback Brett Favre was listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Arizona because of a sore left ankle but is expected to start.

# The Houston Texans will play their home opener against Indianapolis on Oct. 5 in hurricane-damaged Reliant Stadium with the roof open. The roof won't be fixed in time for the game, but insurance adjusters and architects said the stadium is structurally sound to host the game with the roof open.
